People miss a lot of interesting things in classic books, such as Moby Dick. Take, for example, this exact quote, as Captain Ahab reveals to his crew his (shocking(?)) story:

Use "heart-stricken moose" in a daily conversation - people will either think you've read all one thousand-ish pages of Moby Dick and revel in new respect of your intellect, or will be too amazed by your description that they wouldn't even think to question it.
